Whaaaaattttt?!?! LOL I just called my local dealership where I bought my Taco from. They installed the 2012 BE and I wanted the 2005-2011 model. I inquired about the cost to buy the older style BE and just got quoted $940+tax for the black/unpainted version . The painted version was $200 more.....I confirmed that we were talking about the same thing 3x.

Anyone else hear of such ridiculous pricing for the stock BE before or is my dealership nuts?

Werd. Went down to a different location and got it for $220. Whew. I think the other guy was quoting me a replacement bed or something. LOL

I'm surprised it wasn't more...... No kidding.
Toyota has lost its mind lately. Only thing reasonable I've found are their oil filters.
I get them for like $5.50 if I buy 3 or more. I was charged $57 for an oil change once.
    Notice I said ONCE?

Yeah, I think they were looking up something else. No way even with dealer hike prices was it $900+

You never know with the dealers. The first place I go anymore is Ebay. Lots of aftermarket parts there for all my Toyotas. The only thing I buy from the dealer is oil filters.
