New Job, Breaking in truck parts..

Does anyone know where i could get my cab mount chopped locally?

 

The closest place that I know of to get the cab mount chop is 2 hours from SA.

 

Well... that sucks. I noticed yesterday that i'm hitting the mount, Dunno why though

 

I dunno she just does. Not only that my wify gets up at that time.

Where you get a new job at?

And you want a body mount chop?

Take pics and show us?

 

I did mine with a cutting disk on a grinder, and i'm closer than 2 hrs. May have time this weekend if you want, i'm really backed up on prjects right now (4runner)

 

I was gunna say.. I know few peeps that know how to do body mount chops..

Did you weld a plate to cover it up? I like closer and it's always good to hang with TW people.

No I haven't yet, don't have a welder, i just hit it with black spray paint seems to be holding up well, no rust and I just washed it for the first time since the wedding (8/12/11)

Yeah I will, I had issues getting all the timing marks on the timing belt all lined up on the runner monday, gave up and went to bed, had a long day yesterday gonna go at it again in a few.

Not sure if you can see the rubbing... it's mostly on the corner of the mount.

Yep thats where it occurs it fucked my tires up alot until I cut it now no more noise and easy turning

 

holy shit, i almost spit out my Pho pho because of that.

Here's your rubbing fix...no homo. I wish I had a pic of my drivers side before I painted it, it looks freaking awesome. This is a pic of my passengers side before I took a tiger disk and paint to it.

 

Looks great but unfortunately i don't know anyone or a place to weld that all in that's close. 2 hours away would be hard considering work and all.

The only place I rub is on a piece of plastic covering steel behind it which is a good 2-3 inches from the tire which isnt bad, wouldn't you guys think I'd be rubbing terribly with my size tire ? Seems like everyone else even first gen guys always have to cut a shit load?
Does my offset help that it's like -38mm and 3inch backspacing?
