    just search on ebay for aluminum black mini mesh. the buy it now is 29.99 plus 5 for shipping. the lowest offer they would accept was 25 plus shipping. took abotu 3 days to get it. comes in a 12x48 sheet. enough to do grille and triangles

    here are some updated pics. i sanded, glassed, bondo, then primed. installed back in an ran for a solid week to see if any changes in the operating temp because of the small holes in the mesh. i noted no temp change at all. going to finish it this week and will post pics when finished. it will be super white.

    and a side note. the pic of it back on the truck..... i bought this small hole mesh so you could not "see" through it. i have not painted the radiator yet and you still can not see it when grille is installed. i am very pleased with it. the mesh was only 30 bucks

    How did you get the glass to bond to the ABS?

    I tried glassing mine and 3 days later it peeled off like a banana skin when I lightly flexed the grille.
    Started searching online, and everything I found indicated that glass resin will not properly bond with ABS.

    And I wondered why HomerTaco made his using plastic welding.
    I ended up laminating some ABS sheet to the back and attaching some cut pieces from the removed parts of the grille. One end is nice, the other end is still soft (after a week!).. I'm hoping it will firm up or I'll have to strip it back down and try again.

    it should have stuck i would think. i used 8o grit and lightly scuffed and then degreased and layed it to it
