All of this is true especially with leaf springs. Even in our linked race truck with a heavy 9" axle we ran very little rebound valving. No matter what I want the rear axle keeping contact as much as possible. 99% of the time bucking is from not having enough compression valving, rebound has very little to do with bucking. That's just my opinion, keep it mind I don't have much experience with leaf set ups, we almost always ran links.

why would u compare 4130 to fatal?... evan goes to each and every race and supports them, thats where he sells his cloths to people at the races. on top of that he is really cool with supporting local guys and sponsoring anyone with a built truck. and after the cali 200 crash he fund raised 10000 dollars to help... he's done alot more to help the offroad industry then most people. yes bro's will buy his shit, but so does everyone and thats unavoidable. the fact that KING shocks personally gives him and only him the rights to sell there product now says something

Exactly, thats what I was saying! The rebound adjustment that I was talking about was to slow down the rebound of the spring with the shock.

I disagree with this, the natural act of the leafs springs is to return back to its original arch immediately and you can control how fast that happens by slowing down the rebound.

Of course, this why we all have long travel! To go as fast as we can over "bumps, whoops, jumps" whatever it is, while constantly keeping the wheels on the ground. Thats the only way your gonna go fast. Any offroad driver will tell you that the fastest way to go fast is to always have the wheels on the ground.

I remember when travis pestrana was jumping that float in Long Beach for new years a couple years ago, they said he can control the pitch of his vehicle by apply more throttle or brakes while in mid-air.

Apparently, more throttle and the nose goes up, brake and the noes goes down. Hit goal was to land on all 4.

you seem to think leafs spring back really fast like a c/o, but they don't. You need the rebound to be super fast to make leafs work going through whoops, there is no way around that.

Works the same on a dirt bike, dont see why it wouldnt be the same with 4 wheels.

have to do the same thing with my rc cars. only makes sense for it to be true on the full scale.
