all pro bumper warn winch help

i have my xd 9.5 on my all pro bumper but i dont like the way the control box is mounted cause i have to pop the hood to hook my controler up does anyone have pics of where they put theres

 

I wish I had a pic of my grille I dont have my truck near me but All pro mounted it to a bracket right behind the grille. So i simply plug it in thru the grille.

well i run the cable through the grill but i cant plug it in unless i pop the hood

 

My plug is facing forward so you simply just push it backwards thru the grille and it plugs in. pretty simple. sounds like firetruk has a pic

 

mines under the hood but the controller runs to my cab and i leave it plugged in

 

im going thru all my pics of my front end and I cant seem to find it, ill keep looking thru my pics to see if I can find it.

 

thanks im gonna take a look at it this weekend and see what i can do it dosnt hurt to leave it plugged in all the time

 

You can kinda see it to the left of the toyota emblem still not a great picture but an idea of it

 

I have a really clean setup with the winch solenoid mounted above my fender on the drivers side and running a Warn wireless remote. I'll get some picks tonight when I get home.

About $115 - $150. I got mine for free when I bought my Warn M8000. Warn had a promotion at the time.

 

As promised here are some pics. Of course you don't have to run the wireless setup with how I mounted my solenoid.

I used all factory threaded holes on the body of the truck, just picked up some bolts from Lowes. You do have to slightly modify the back of the solenoid box so it will fit flush against the truck.





I have my remote mounted with some Velcro under my center console. It’s out of the way and there when I need it.

 

That looks like a sweet set up.

 

I mounted by box in the bumper to the left of the winch. Just bolted it down and then left the remote attached to the box in side of the bumper. When I wanted to use the winch, Id just hop out and grab the remote.
