HAHA it should definitely be a good time.

@johnnie, are we planning on going to the "large group" side of Hole in the wall camp ground? How much can we expect to chip in for the camp ground?

Lol. stop getting your oil changed at jiffy lube and you won't have to wait for us. but we were running way late. hopefully we won't get stuck so many times this run.

thanks for reminding me. if I remember correctly I think they told Matt it was $25 a night so it would be fairly cheap for each truck. ill give them a call today to confirm. I think we might stay at a different campground the first night. once we get all the coordinates worked out mike, James and I will come up with a route and figure out where we should camp.

Here's a sneak peak of where we're starting the Mojave Road from in Laughlin behind the Avi Hotel. Yes, this is the start of Mojave Road.

We're about 2 months out from this Mojave run. Since we plan on doing the run from Laughlin to Barstow, Friday-Sunday, I'm considering spending the night in Laughlin Thursday night at a hotel. The Avi hotel where we're leaving from is $60 + tax which is around $70. The other hotels in Laughlin which are about 10 miles from the Avi are anywhere from $30 and up. I have Thursday off of work so I'll probably leave Thursday afternoon and arrive in the late afternoon.

If there are a few guys that would like to share a room (no homo) we could save money, get a good night sleep and buy food in Laughlin instead of driving with it all the way to Laughlin. Those who plan on driving to Laughlin Friday morning won't be arriving till about 10am or so. Therefore, we'll have time in the morning to eat a buffet breakfast, gas up and get food and be ready to roll when the others arrive. We could probably split 4 guys to a room if you're willing to share two queen beds.

If you're possibly interested in sharing a room, post up here. If we get enough interest we can start reserving rooms. If I'm going to be the only one heading to Laughlin on Thursday then I'll probably just roll with everyone on Friday. Don't want to get stuck out there by myself.

Just sign up even if you're interested but not sure.

**Mike, can you add this to the first post?

2 mos out. everyone think about having radios... spares.... if u have never been on this run, last year it was a lot rockier and several types of different terrain throughout the trip. this year were doing a different route so none of us have been this way. so check ur tires and some sort of radio. im going to pick up a cb. but Matt and Greg use handheld ham radios which work great and have a longer range.
