Brand New Shimano Bait Casting Reel

I bought a Shimano Citica 200E on 2/19/12. I took it out on the Wilson today and decided that I did not like it. I bought a right hand reel when I should have bought a left hand reel. This reel resales for $119. It comes with basically everything in the box. Just like you bought it from the store. I need to unload this so I can go get a left hand reel. It comes loaded with 12 lbs line.

Just take it back where you bought it and have them order you a LH version. Just sayin'. Better than losing $$ on it. I'm assuming you can return it?

 

Already tired that. It has 2 small surface scratches on it from being in the bed of the tacoma. They won't take it back because of that. I would rather take a hit on it then just let it collect dust.

 

Fair enough. Good luck with sale. I'd consider picking it up because I need 2 more baitcasters here in the next couple of weeks, but I'm a lefty also.

 

You left handed or you use your left to work the reel?

And why didn't you like it? Mainly because it was right handed or actual functions

 

Great reel,, I have three citicas, for 85 shipped that is a great deal. BPS I think has them for 115+ shipping

 

right hand reel is standard for baitcasters. where left hand reel is standard for spin cast. its weird, but its normally how things are.

I really like the function of it, but it didn't feel right using my right hand to work the reel. Having to switch over was a pain.
