Turn signal illuminates when I brake

    As I slowed to a stop this evening in my garage, I noticed a yellow light on the wall. After having some help from a neighbor, I noticed both driver's side turn signals illuminate (no flash) when the brake pedal is depressed. I had a 7 way trailer wire harness installed over a year ago-no problems with it with. I glanced at it and it does not appear to be damaged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    did you replace any turn signal or brake light bulbs recently? the wrong bulb could cause other lights to turn on when energized.

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    It sounds like you have exposed wires somewhere that are touching. Trace the wires back from each headlight to where they join and check there.

    Welcome to TW! Start with the bulbs. I have had one filament in a two filament bulb brake and lay on the good filament. When the good filament circuit is energized it also will energize the bad filament circuit.
