fitting 33x12.50x20 mud grapplers on stock 96 Tacoma

What do i need to do to fit mud grapplers in title on my stock 96 tacoma 4x4? Thinking about getting toytec 3inch spacers and a 2 inch body lift. What else would work to fit these tires? Thanks

 

save some money for a real lift. its gonna run like ass if the suspension is stock and then compressed with a spacer and body lifts are the worst lifts ever. for about $600 you can get eibach springs and bilstein shocks(3" lift) and an add-a-leaf with bilsteins for the rear.

and i swear if you say you cant afford a real lift and are spending what you got for dubs, ima kick you in the nuts.

 

I reckon you could classify my truck as a mall Crawler I will be riding roads alot plus will be putting 1.25 inch spacers on it to clear the uca's. Wanting to go low budget and not really worried about the ride of the truck. That's why I wanted to spend 340 for that set up. Would it clear the tires or would I need something bigger?

 

I have the wheels and tires from my 97 that got totaled in November of 2011. The truck had a 4/3" pro comp spacer lift on it but it did not clear the tires, it also did not have a body lift on it so I already have the 2 inch body lift for the truck but had never spent 200 to get it installed. I'm working on a first Gen Cummins project so that is where most if my money is going.

 

Would the Rancho quick lift CO's work to fit these with the body lift to fit these wheels and tires? I can get them for $82 a piece at my brothers oreily discount. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

 

Everything about this is wrong! 20's with wheel spacers too?? Sell those and don't go above 17-18's! 5100's all around instead of spacers too!

 

I have the wheels and tires and I had them on my old 97. I don't have they money for the lift that was on that truck. Down here in the Florida panhandle you see many Taco 's riding around on 20's and 33's.

Start a new trend! When I was in Hawaii there were a ton of toyota's with wide ass wheels and tires! 5100's all around with a small aal in the rear is pretty cheap!

 

Yea I've seen those rediculous wide tires from pictures. I love the 20's that I have and I do not want to get rid of them or start a new trend. So quick lift and body lift to fit these w&t's?

 

Spend the money and lift the truck right the first time. Why spend hundreds of dollars on something that is going to ride and perform like crap?

If you want to go cheap don't lift it at all. start hammering and slap the 33's on maybe get spacers if you need to clear the UCA. Look WAY cooler then the normal mall crawler and ride better.

a 3 inch lift does nothing to affect tire fitment. all you are doing is taking advantage of some of your down travel, but your tire is gonna end up in the same place as stock when you fully compress it. But if you are mall crawling curbs don't usually flex your suspension that much so pulling out the hammer may not even be necessary

I have a 3" body lift from previous owner and I hate it. I got the truck cheap of my friend cause he blew the pucks through the frame. It was a bitch to fix and I wouldnt recomend to anyone.

Save for a proper lift!

 

Would 3.5 adjustable fabtech co's and fox shocks from a 04 Tacoma work on my 96? According to fabtech website it says tacos with automatic locking hubs you can only lift it 2" anyone know why?
