    Im looking for a CB radio and a PA speaker to go with it. what watt speaker should i get for the PA. I want it to be pretty loud.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    im running a cobra 29 LTD black chrome w/ a 5W PA speaker. u can hear it, but not LOUD. my cb guy said to get better power from it is to get a power mic for the cb itself

    if it has the standard hookups u can get one froma ny cb shop or truck stop

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    my pa speaker is the 50 watt one from radioshack. its powered by the cb only and its loud enough for my liking. I don't need people on the other side of the neighborhood to hear me.

    most PA's just use a normal headphone jack and plug straight into the back of the cb. just mount it somewhere under the hood and forward facing to get good travel out of it

    that depends on how you use it i guess. I have mine down firing so you can hear it behind the truck too.

    do you think that a 15 watt speaker is enough of should i get two 15 watt ... or should i get a 50 watt? i want mine to be pretty loud because my friend has one that is kinda lame cause you cant hear him.

    the single 50 should be fine unless u want one pointing forward and reverse
