Charged with failure to control speed? That's it? I got that when I rear ended someone. Seems there'd be more than just that if you total two cars, send those drivers and passengers to the hospital and flip your semi.

That's how I felt. I am no law expert but I figured that he would be charged with something a little less forgiving.

It takes a lot to lay a truck over like that. If the law doesn't bend him over with fines I'm sure a good lawyer will.

The thing is, he is a lawyer, and I know If I were him I would go after the company and the driver for the very least of hospital bills.

Serious progress was made on the 4Runner clutch swap tonight. The transmission is on the floor, the clutch/flywheel/pilot bearing is out. Tomorrow I hope to get home at a decent hour tomorrow night and get it all put back together.

As for now; I'm going to take a shower and get some sleep that I haven't been getting this week. I'll stay up late on the rig tomorrow night probably.

The fact he received a ticket for the accident means he is going to have to prove the accident wasn't his fault. I'm pretty sure the insurance companies will have a field day with him and his company.
