Actually there were about 10 trouble makers and they were wearing uniforms and badges and guns.

They also got their asses handed to them.

I thought pretty much the same after the DUI Checkpoint thread and now this one. It's good to have some spirited debate, but eventually it starts to look like pandering or trolling.

I understand the constitutional rights and freedom, heck I want Ron Paul as president, but don't you think by just answering them everything would have went more smoothly? Their are people out there that do exactly what this idiot does, go around looking for trouble challenging authority, why? Answer is they just don't have a life and have to much time on their hands.

I dont think citizens have to justify why they assert their constitutional rights.

I think the onus is on the government to justify why they have immigration check points 80 miles from the border on roads that have no nexus to the border entry and exit points.

In America where the borders are wide open and illegal aliens come and go at will, it is unjust, and logically unwise, to have check points 80 miles from the border stopping people with no reasonable suspicion.

Also, when illegal alien drug smugglers are caught at the border with 400 lbs of illegal drugs and set free back into Mexico, it makes you wonder why the US government stops innocent American citizens 80 miles from the border and searches their cars for drugs (at an immigrations checkpoint).

I see what your saying, but idiots like the guy filming doesnt make it better, he's looking for trouble. That guy has other videos on YouTube challenging any authority just so he can exercise his rights, seems like a waste of time and effort, just my 2 cents.
