I ordered tweeter mounts from them a few months ago and then ordered a sub box the other day. I dont like the whole order then go to paypal thing, but other than that I have had no issues with them. Rob responds to my e-mail very quickly and is always helpful. I guess some people have had problems, but I would order from them again.

I ordered a speaker mounting kit from them on Monday. I got and email saying that it was shipped on Tuesday by priority mail 2-3 day. As of today i still dont have it and i have not got a response to two emails sent to them. I understand there could be shipping delays but i can not stand the lack of communication.

I said that I have purchased from ********* before and would order from them again however I do feel that they are over priced for the items that they sell. If there were a cheaper alternative that I could find from a legitimate source I would probably strongly consider them over *********. The products that I ordered however showed up in good shape and were shipped to me relatively quickly.

After reading all the replies and general info on taco tunes... No way.

What kind of business sends a shipping label to send the product to another customer? that should go back to the company, inspected and re-shipped.

This guy seems to be half-assing a lot of things, we all have families and responsibilites but its the people who can manage all these things together that make it.

When i order a product i want it from the company, with confidence, in a timely manner; not from some other customer who had a screwed up order, or with a long pain in the ass delay.

That and everyone making speaker rings and mounting brackets are ripping people off!!!!

I'm on my second order. First one came within 2 days of purchase, second one looks like the same. Rob even cut me a deal due to the fact that they were out of my original order. He even provided about an hour of support on the phone explaining the basics to me. I'll post a thread with the install pictures. I'm couldn't be happier with my 2 orders from *********.........

I can make a box like theirs and including an even better sub for less than theirs. Since I make custom boxes and i work for onlinecarstereo.com I have the hook ups! ad3a8edb-c25b-8897_0f11936bd1f48ad6918f894a140d8ece32eb6769.jpgad3a8edb-c26f-d71d_bbd8bd220b7c33a66e978c24d33a6c3adcb98de5.jpg

Just out of curiosity how much do the speaker baffles from Mr Marv compare to the ********* in price? I was actually going to be placing an order with ********* for 6.5 and tweeter mounts but now I'm not so sure. If the prices are about the same I would just a soon go with Marv as everybody says he is a great guy to deal with. I would call Mr Marv but I'm not quite ready to order and I just don't want to take any of his time just yet if I can find out here. Thanks for any help.

Ordered the adapter kit for my RC (round stock speakers, not 6x9) and the package arrived within a few days. Fit like a dream and the tweeter hole was drilled perfectly for the Polk tweeters.

    BUT.....

I sent them an email asking about wiring since some had mentioned that unplugging the tweeter killed all sound. I never got a response.

So... Proceed with caution. They have good products, but they are not the cheapest and I'd rate their customer service/response a solid zero.

Did you get your question answered?

I had a similar question about wiring and where to tap in, and PM'd Mr. Marv. He called me on my cell while I was installing to answer my question, and took another call from me later on. I bought my speakers and adapters from him, and not only are his prices and products first rate, but his customer service is outstanding. Can't recommend him enough.

So, just in case anyone is looking for an alternative to *********...

********* installation kit, for all those doubters out there, kicks a$$ and is well worth the money. My experience with them has been outstanding and second to none. Thanks ********* for awesome service and a great product.

Good job on the install, but the Dynamat covering the openings in the inner door panels is not doing anything other than adding weight and smell.

Dynamat does not absorb sound. It dampens vibrations on other surfaces that amplify/transmit sound.

You would be better off rolling the window up and getting in there and putting a layer on the inside of the outer door skin.

I'm sure I'm gonna get slammed for this, being my first post. I placed an order with TT on Thursday. Got fed ex shipping confirmation last night(Sunday),stating its in route from Texas. Before I placed my order,I sent an email asking questions about the bad reviews I read. TT responded within the hour of me sending the email, answering my questions. I've gotten emails from Rob telling me the progress of my order every step of the way.So far,so good.

it's nice to see that we are finally starting to see more positive reviews.

for a long while, everything was negative.
