We're everywhere, just hope we're there whenever the cards are stacked against you. Crazy people make for good people to know I can always count on them because they are always themselves and it seems to scare the hell outta everyone else.

Lots of trolls on TW lately with no real input.

I do have a wife and a kid and I feel it is my responsibility to protect them. My luck would be that something bad would happen when I wasnt carrying so I try my best to carry at all times. Not being paraniod, just responsible and prepared.

I am always considered Huntsville a low crime area, aside from that wacky college prof killing her entire department last year:)

The worst crime I have personally seen in Huntsville is loitering and littering, and that is near campus, across the street from Harbor Freight.

Okay, let me emphasis once again that he didn't just walk up to us. Would have gladly talked to him if that is all he wanted. Indeed, we did talk to him for a few moments. Instead, he came up directly behind us, in a darkened parking lot with nobody else around. He never said a word until we turned around to face him.

Everything prior to that took place in a matter of seconds. I had just looked at him a few seconds before as he exited his car and started walking towards the store. The entrance to the store was closer to him than to us. He had to walk away from that entrance, across the lane, to approach us. A few seconds later, surprisingly fast, he was directly behind us.

When I say a few seconds, I'm talking less time then it took for us to walk the width of roughly two parking spaces. We parked, I believe, six spaces from the driveway in front of the store. There was an empty space beween our truck and his car, another empty space opposite his car, and then two other vehicles. In no hurry, we crossed the lane to maintain some distance from him.

After we passed his car, he got out and started walking towards the store. We were no more than about two spaces from the driveway in front of the store when I last looked at him and got distracted by the riding mowers. Wife said she wanted to write down prices and started looking through her purse for some paper as we walked. Looking at the mowers, I agreed that was a good idea.

Before we got to the driveway in front of the store, wife still looking in her purse, he was already directly behind us. As we spun around, he stopped abruptly, looked back and forth between us and the truck (stepping side to side a few times like he was studying the truck), and only then said anything.

I don't believe all of that was the normal behavior of someone who just wanted to talk. If he really wanted that, he would have walked up to us, not behind us.

What a dope he must have been, Lowe's has camera's all over the parking lot as well as the store, even if he was up to no good, it would have been on the evening news with his picture, or in your case a corpse with many holes in it..

What the heck are you talking about? I'm not bragging about anything. There's nothing to brag about. This is a gun forum, where self-defense is routinely discussed. My experience, along with the conclusion (be aware), fits into that perfectly.

Atleast you got his picture and were able to post it up here. Smart thinking now if he gets your phone and hides the body we still have a permanent record. lol
