and that's why your a plumber

    see here http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/...ative_Window_Films/Fabric-Frost-Mat_Patterns/

symmetry is not used in architectural design.......design is supposed to not be symmetric thus the design.....anyone can make stuff equal

    Where's Chris....he's an architect.

    As Fred would say.................POOP
Surely you jest? I would hardly call "glorified stickers" on a window Architecture. Interior design at its best.

    fuck you

    1) etching the glass makes the surface porous. oils from someones hands (because every asshole likes to touch or in your case lick the glass) leaves deposits on the etch even if it is sealed and makes the glass impossible to keep clean - film cleans as easily as glass and absorbs no oils

    2) film provides added protection should the glass break - etching actually removes a layer of glass and makes it weaker and per ASTM shouldn't even be done to tempered glass

    3) film can be applied onsite to typical glass and designs can change up until it is cut on the plotter - etched designs add 2-3 weeks lead times to a product

    4) film is cheaper - etch is much more expensive

    5) film designs provide 99% UV protection - etching does not block any UV rays...just defuses them

now go shit in your hat

Just tint and ppl for now.
A little late to the party....Design on the glass can be specified by the architect or interior designer which makes it a design element. Generally speaking, good design is not dictated by symmetry or asymmetry. Both have their place in the world of design. Good design is when the Architect/Designer knows how to develop the asymmetrical/symmetrical field with proportions and scale. I design buildings symmetrically, asymmetrically and in most cases asymmetries within the symmetries...depending on the project and client.

So, you are all somehwat wrong.

    Lets talk about beer again...
