Anyone know the cheapest place to get it? I'm hoping for under 35¢ round if at all possible.

Does anyone have a left handed stag arms AR? I'm looking at getting a 8L. Any feedback would be appreciated.

i didnt realize that was what you already had. in that case just stake the carrier key on that RRA BCG and run it till it breaks!

check this out for things to look for. there is a link it there for staking the carrier key.

mentioned above. the cheapest stuff you can find. Some dont like steel case ammo, if that is your case then I would say XM193. last time I bought 500 rounds it was around 150 plus shipping. PSA has the best prices ive seen on that.

if you dont mind shooting steel then go with the Wolf WPA from AIM.

I just got my order of 500 rounds for $114 shipped.

also check slickguns.net for good deals

Im looking for good hunting loads for the .223 and .300.

in .223, maybe a 69-80gr HPBT, but most of the manufacturers that produce those bullets dont recommend them for hunting.

maybe a 167gr lapua scenar HPBT for deer?

I don't have any loads for heavy .223, though I do have a stockpile of TAC powder because I get Ramshot brands really cheap. My prairie dog load for 223 is about 24 gr of Xterminator under a 40 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip.

For 300 BLK, I've only really worked up subsonic loads for the 220 gr SMK, though I have a buddy who took a deer with a 125 gr Sierra ProHunter. You should be able to push those to about 2200 fps without pressure issues, and their lead core expands well at those velocities. I have test loads worked up for the 125 gr NBT with 1680 and N110 powders but haven't shot them to see how they work. I hear they work well on deer and pigs because the Ballistic Tip acts more like a soft point at those velocities. The 167 gr Scenar is going to be hard to push over 2000 fps I would imagine - I have no idea how it would act at that velocity but I doubt you get much expansion.
