i was wondering what i should do to make my tacoma sound sick. i went to 4 wheel parts and they said a new muffler, but it would sound like an import car from japan with a high pitched noise. is a high pitched noise for a tacoma cool or a deep noise? thanks!!!

If you want it to sound sick, loosen a spark plug :) Seriously, I put a 14" magnaflow on mine and I have to say it sounds a bit ricey. I'm not all that happy with it.

Seriously OP, the magnaflow is the best sounding one IMO, but will be a little ricey, Nothing like a honda civic though, much deeper.

No, really though. I loved my exhaust when I first installed it, but the humming on the freeway gets old. .02

How to make it sound sick? Pull a spark plug :D

J/k Listen to some of the vids and decide what you like, many shops will let you hear different mufflers if you are getting them to do the work

    I like MagnaFlow

News Flash: It's a V6 truck from a Japanese company.

Of course it's going to somewhat ricey. It will never sound like a V8. I think the AeroTurbine sounds the best on a Tacoma, but no matter what exhaust you run at WOT it's gonna side like rice.
