Interesting. What tires are you going with and what will you do with your current tires?

 

So I welded the sliders on today. I had a few feed problems with my welder but I got it fixed and finished up. I think they turned out great.

 

Niice! Looks really good man. Now go scrape them on something!

 

Went out today and did some wheeling with my buddy and his xj

 

I did the diff breather relocation and 7 pin trailer plug relocation today.

Colin! Looks amazing man! I was thinking of doing the same. Did you wing it or have plans?

 

Chris, I totally winged it. I had the idea and just went with it. It's really turning out much better then my initial idea.

 

I built this today haha. Gonna try and finish it up this weekend.

 

No doubt man. Looks really great. How will you keep it from warping when you do all the finish welds? Going to tack it to a table?

 

I hadn't thought about that. I'm hoping it isn't too off when it goes back on the truck.

 

If you have a steel table or steel door laying around, you can tack it to that. It will prevent it from holding a warp.

 

Sounds like a plan, I do have a smaller steel table, but I'll make it work.

Not yet, hopefully by next week or so. I got backed up with some other things. I did get my welds cleaned up on the wrap around pieces and got what Ive got so far painted because I need to have something on the truck this week. So next week I'll pull it off, I need to cap the top and the front, add another brace and it should be finished.

 

Here are some pictures of what I have so far of the bumper cleaned up and painted for those who have not seen it in the other thread. It's not done yet but I hope to finish it soon.
