yea..hard work tho. and its easy to get sucked into that job for the rest of your life. What happened to my dad. He would rather be an electrician or carpenter.

Lol not really like that..in Anchorage in winter there is still sun haha Just not as much, think its like between 7-5 hours. In the summer in never gets completely dark tho.

Then months of no sun is only way way up north..like were my pops works.

    Oh that would be cool.

Idk tho man. I wouldn't want to teach up there cause the school systems up there are odd, tons of small towns. They fly to each other to compete in sports :D haha Plus shipping stuff is so pricey..idk. Its fun to spend a few weeks or maybe a month up there i think..Im not sure id want to totally live there.

Not without a pilots licensee anyways..

Lol no, i only lived there for the first two and half years of my life. Went back there every year to see the grandparents and aunt and uncle and three cousins tho.

We moved here to WY back to Powell were my Mom grew up cause she didn't like the weather in AK  hahahaha...yea..haha

But I'm glad to be here too :D Talk about open spaces..If i had grown up in AK i woulda had my pilots and boating licenses tho by now..could have a good job..but going to college is hard up there. Always have to transfer but its just tempting as hell to just go fish, mine, fly, or the oil fields.

I bailed out and the party kept rolling on, story of this thread.

Alaska? Cool place, would be fun to visit. one of my life goals is to snowboard some big mountain lines there. But I don't think I would want to live there. If I could live anywhere in the world it would be the 1. salt lake area or 2. tahoe.

Ben you really like doggin on southern idaho huh? I've never been up north, so I would like to get up there eventually too.

Psshh, everyone else's dog is weak. My (family's) dogs will kick all yalls asses. Let me go find some pictures.

I'm running the trans/transfer case out of an FJ60 in mine. I have a friend that did all chevy including 1 ton axles on a FJ55 and I know several guys that are running chevy/toyota combos seems like they all have their quirks and a lot of it has to do with the axle configuration as to why they are all running toy TC's. If I had deep pockets I would look at a Atlas 4 Transfer case http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/atlas-4-speed/
Which should mate up to any of the swaps you mentioned although I'm not familiar with the Isuzu swaps so they may be more to it but it sure does sound cool.

Yeah I did, fucking cracked me up but I got busy looking at LC pron this morning. I got plenty of wheels we can test fit on that thing at this point I realized I got 15 tires that are 35's or larger mounted and sitting around the house.
