I am going to paint the chrome piece betweeen the lights to match the color of my car(white). I need some help choosing a paint that will match. I was thinking about krylon fusion? Let me know what you have used ! :)

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
i tried duplo color super white and clear coat when i had to do some body work to the roof of my truck. didnt match very well. probably becuase of the sun fading. my truck is a 2005. i mean u could try it, and if u dont like it u could just go the flat matte black look. i tried the white and didnt like it. remember, if u have never painted before, the more prep work u do before hand will equal a better finished project.

I figured it is gonna be pretty hard to find an exact color match for the white.. Ill leave it aside for now or ill consider painting it black. How well does it hold up without clear coating?

For a part as visible as the front grill surround, I'd say it'd be really important to spend the money the first go around and get it done at a shop. Trying to match base/clear and come up with something that resembles the stock white is gonna be near impossible with OTC products.
