So I've been looking around and I've narrowed my rim choices down to three and would like to ask you guys for opinions. If any of you have these rims, please post pics cuz I'd love to see.

Also, with 4.5" of BS, will these cause any issues with rubbing or anything. I want something that is kinda deep dish looking so I need something with a negative offset and less backspacing correct? Stock is +30mm and 5.5" BS so this 4.5" wheel should give me the look I want right?

What wheel size? I know the 16" Yumas will stick out 1.75" farther than the stockers, which is why I haven't pushed the button on them yet. It would push them out past the flaps and fenders a bit.

Huh? They have a 4.5" backspace just like every other aftermarket wheel. They don't stick out much past the fender unless you use spacers.

Yep. Basically, most aftermarket wheels are going to be 8" wide with either 4" or 4.5" backspace. The less the backspace, the more the wheel will stick out. If you're putting the stock size tire on, and want it tucked under the fender, you'll need to find a wheel with 5" or more backspace, which will limit your choices.

If you want a deep dish, that would mean less backspace - in the 4" range, or wider wheel - both of which will stick out quite a bit more than what the Zuma's do.

As I mentioned, they stick out 1.75" more than stock 16" alloys. Not every wheel sticks out like that, and some stick out more. That's not really something to be confused about, it's just fact.

Now for some opinion: Tires sticking out looks better on a lifted truck, like yours, than a stock-height truck, like mine. Especially with mud flaps on, tires and wheels sticking out past them looks completely hillbilly.

ETA: THe hillbilly comment isn't directed specifically to these wheels, I don't think they look terrible, but there are some wheels out there that stick out a lot more, like the XD Revolvers. If I end up getting aftermarket wheels the Yumas are my current favorite because they're cheap and look good. Just don't think that every wheel has the same specs, they definitely don't.

I agree. But 8" x 4.5" backspace is the most common aftermarket size for us. There are much fewer options though for narrower or positive offset wheels. Stock FJ TRD wheels would be nice. But there's no way of getting a deep dish without sticking out some. And the Zumas don't have a very deep dish.

Hey guys, Im about to order the Black Rock Yumas in black and I was wondering if I need the hubcentric version? This is easier to balance right? Also, any cheaper place to order other than 4wheelparts for 121.99 plus free shipping to my store here in Charlotte

Don't get hubcentric. They are not the right hub size for a Tacoma. Discount Tire will match any price too (the one in Concord did anyway).
