I'd like to but I gotta work

Maybe we should set up a Saturday or Sunday Taco run for the near future.

I would but I get home from work at 5:00 AM on Saturday & Sunday mornings. That's why I setup the Monthly Monday runs @ Reno4x4.com. They do a run every Sunday if you're interested. http://www.reno4x4.com/forum/forumdisplay.php/9-Events-amp-Trail-Runs
Yesterday they did HLT from Caughlin to the lake & back. http://www.reno4x4.com/forum/showthread.php/57073-HLT-trip-roport-thread-1-29-12?p=587352#post587352

Well we had another great day on the trails. We went with Greg (4x Adveturer) & Bob from Reno4x4. We visited the Ludwig mine and a bunch of other copper mines in the area near Yerington. We didn't take the graded road and had a lot of fun. Most of it would have been stockable with the harder parts being optional. The views were great, terrain was varied and at times exciting. Without the 3" lift & the 33" tires I would have done a nose stand. I came very close to planting the front bumper & then dragging the rear. I should have stopped to take a picture. We left the pavement off Alt 95 by Yerington and got back on it at Delphi Road and Day Lane in Smith Valley, thru Wellington on 208 to 395. There were a lot of easy trails but since we were both running lifts with 33" tires we opted for some of the more fun trails. there is a pic of Greg scouting a trail that turned into a quad trail we came across and turned around. Some of the more challenging spots were just cutting the corners on the trails. I really wish I would have gotten out at the place that I almost did a nose stand for a pic but I didn't, and that was one of the spots we took the trail that cut the corner. Had a lot of fun, with no damage done! [IMG]

Yes it was a great trip. A ton of trails to choose from & we only turned around once because it turned into a quad trail. Chris said to me "You know I close my eyes for some of this" my responce was "No but as long as I don't we're OK"

Adam, welcome to the local group and welcome to TW. You are #30.
I do Monday trail runs once a month with Reno4x4.com that are stocker friendly. http://www.reno4x4.com/forum/showthread.php/56366-Monthly-Monday-trail-run
And someone else there does them every Sunday usually stocker friendly. http://www.reno4x4.com/forum/forumdisplay.php/9-Events-amp-Trail-Runs
I'll probably do the Sunday run on 3/11 or 3/18 because I have off on the 10th & 17th.
I wont be doing many weekend runs until this summer because I'm working Wed - Sat 6:00pm to 4:30am.
Got pics of your Taco? A bunch of mine in this thread or check out my bulid. (link above sig pic)

Any interest in doing a trail run on 3/11?
If no one here wants to go out and play I'll play with the Reno4x4 gang.

Don't know, don't care as long as it's not HLT. I'll do HLT this summer but not yet (need armor if I want to do it in the snow).
There is a trail over Peavine that ends up in the Peavine live firewood cutting area that a stock Cherokee came down one day I was up there cutting that I wanted to check out. The couple that came down it said it was pretty wild (but they were stock). I was thinking about starting there and seeing where it goes (have a map but haven't checked it out yet). Another possabilty would be the Cold Spring trenches and hills around there. I'm open to sugestions.
I just wanna go play in the dirt.
