access cab flex?

Hello. I'm looking at 2007 access cab. People here don't seem to mind the flex. But there isn't much info in the search. Does the flex become a problem, especially with doors latching properly? I'm in NJ, never go mudding or climbing rocks.
I am looking for general Tacoma history, tsb, etc. on access cab flex.
Also, this truck is 4 cyl, manual. Does it struggle with max. 500 pounds of building material in bed?

Never heard of the cab flex, not aware of any TSB on it. I can sometimes hear my doors creaking if I'm doing something to flex the suspension or frame. The doors all work just fine at 60K miles. The interior doesn't rattle. No hardcore off roading here.

I have a 4cyl, manual trans 2009 Regular cab 2WD (non pre runnner) at work. It has plenty of power with at least 500 pounds in it at all times.

 

Eventually depending on how hard they are run all the access cabs will have some problem with the doors, might take longer for some than others but eventually it will come.

 

I have an 07 access cab and I beat on it. all 4 doors still close pefectly with out any creaking. The only creaking I have is from my stock leafs which are shot from beating on them.

 

This was one of my major concerns about buying an AC. Wondering whether Toyota reinforced the cab well enough for serious tweaking with no door pillars. Two weeks after I bought it I got into some very ugly shat in the desert. Twisted the hell out of it with two wheels in the air repeatedly. Other than the aforementioned creaking/moaning, no body alignment changes whatsoever. Still too new to see how it'll perform over time, but I was damned impressed with it after that little excursion to hell.

 

I think most folks wheeling their access cabs do it with the doors on.

Take them off, ehh, might get some twistyness happening.

 

Over 100,000 miles never a problem with doors.

 

My 5 lug Access Cab has hauled over 900 lbs to the dump and has no problems with the doors.

 

Never heard of an access cab flex issue.

I haven't had any door alignment issues.
I haven't stress my body much, but I will say, I can hear
the door seal and or something screech and crunch when I
drop off or go over a rut/dip/bump.

But it is really only noticeable when I go over it diagonally.
Like dropping one wheel over at a time. That stress the truck more and you can hear the door seal or something screeching. NEVER, as of yet have I had a problem.

I don't intentionally offraod, but I do use it to cross farmland ect. I use my truck as a truck. But not for rock crawling etc.
I never really thought of it warping the body and causing alignment issues etc.

My concern is more toward the windshield. I'd hate to break the seal on that and cause it to leak? Can this even happen?
I have a 2007 Access-Cab.

 

my 4 cyl has seen 1200 lbs in the bed of dirt and or rocks, no issue besides looking like im going to do a wheelie
