Gauge Pods on A-Pillar

So I am thinking about doing some gauges running down the a-pillar.

I think the ones I want to put in are Oil Pressure and Differential Temperature.

The oil pressure gauge is a mechanical and the diff temp is electrical. Do I need certain things to hook up the diff temp gauge?

Also where would I hook up my diff temp to get accurate readings?

 

I'm doing the Gauge pod pillar also. 1 gauge will be volts, need to keep an eye on the
electrical. Not sure about the second gauge. Where are you getting your pod and gauges?

I assume you guys dont have the side curtain airbags, right ?
07 and 08 I dont know but you probably do.
Wouldn't want to end up eating those guages if you happend to put it on its side.

 

i thought about dointhe pillar gauges i had my boost gauge mounted under the parking brake, looks out of place....is the gauges hard to install? (sorry i have a 1st gen.) just wondering about the install

 

Go to gaugepods.com to find the trim piece you need. They have a 1st gen one.

Your goin to go with the mechanical oil pressure gauge? Whare did you find a differential temp gauge?

 

I was planning on it but then realized that it was the wrong size. It was 2 and 1/16 and not 5/8.

So I think I will go with trans temp I think.

 

Mech gauges are not easy to run, Just a heads up, Be easyer on you to go with the elec ones.

 

Yea thats the plan to get an electric oil pressure and transmission temperature.

 

OK cool, I know someone has the transmission temp gauge on here just dont rember who.
