That's also a good idea, I was dancing one night and a girl bent over and puked in the middle of the floor no one knew until the smell really got bad. I thought she was just bending over trying to grind a little harder.

It was dark and no one realized anybody had puked until it really started smelling. I didn't realize that it was her until later.

I always feel guilty when a friend of mine or someone I know pukes at some one else's pad. I hate being the nice guy that has to clean up my friend's puke.

    This thread peaks my interest.

I would suggest looking for a place with tile flooring, wood and carpet are not ideal for a party place. Especially if you have a landlord.

Get toilet paper from costco, and keep every bathroom well stocked, with a plunger next to each toilet. This will avert 60% of your party crises.

Get renter's insurance. If you throw a lot of parties, someone's shit will eventually get stolen. I'm paying $10 a month for $10,000 in personal item coverage with a $100 deductible. None of my shit's ever been stolen, but if it does, that insurance will have paid for itself immediately. Also helps in case some jackass decides to jump off your roof and the family wants to sue.

Have some sort of visualizer to go with your music. We usually just hook up a laptop to the flat screen and plug that in to some nicer speakers. A nice sound system will go a long way. If you can, make friends with a local DJ and just have him come by whenever he has a free night.

For baby-making, these are pricey but my room mate has a pair of these in a floor lamp, and he's very satisfied with his purchase:
    http://www.amazon.com/HitLights-Quality-Changing-Feature-Control/dp/B005SHR2C4/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1330273419&sr=8-5
They're basically light bulbs you can control by remote. You can control the color, brightness, etc. It's pretty sick, and IMO, worth the investment if you're gonna be bringing a lot of girls back to your room. They're not very bright on their own but at night, they shine. Bitches love red light.

Get a few gatorade style water dispensers and make different types of mixed drinks for each one. It's easy to measure out ratios when you're using large volumes. Keep the kegs and the coolers spread out around the house and yard, so you won't have massively packed crowds around the booze.

If you're looking for an actual party idea, we always had awesome parties everytime we did a Graffiti Party. Basically everyone wears a white T-shirt and brings a Sharpie, and you write whatever message you want on the other people. You wake up in the morning with some pretty crazy shit on you're shirt, and you're pretty much guaranteed to get at least a few potential hookups. Just an idea.

Good party idea is "what would you do for a dollar?" theme. Gets interesting as the night progresses.

Man, back when I was a kid, I went to a rocknroll concert with a with shirt and sharpies... Man, oh man, I ended up with signatures on the inside, oustide, and me personely, from the bottom of the kiester cheeks to my collar including the significant unit... What a tail, heck, led to some other tail by the end of it all

The best house party advice I can give is to go to someone else's... if you care about keeping your place clean. Nastiest thing I ever saw was some girl who left her bloody tampon on top of our trash can after a party we threw :puke:.

We tried to clean our house up but it always still smelled afterwards. We ended up finding this cleaning crew of meth-heads, about 6 of them, that would have our house shiny in about 20 minutes (that meth had them damn near buffing the floor with their tongues in 2 minutes.) for $60, which was $20 from each of us. They even cleaned our dishes too. Just watch them while they clean in case they have sticky fingers.

I realized soon the best thing to do was let girls come over to my place after we fucked up someone else's.
