So Chris and I tried to swap tonight. Turns out the 2011 and 2012 are not the same hood. I guess Toyota likes to drop Gs on tooling new sheet metal dies.

I had a PM from another member with a '12. Hope it works out. We'll keep you posted.

Why are we seeing so many WTB threads where guys don't want skewp?

THAT was the hardest part about persuading my wife to buy the Rav4-L vs the Sport.
She didn't care about the steering wheel controls. She didn't care about cruise control. She didn't care about color-matched trim.

    She wanted a fucking skewp!

    She didn't get a fucking skewp :D

i had to get the scoop/trd in order to get the entune/nav system. they don't come in our region without scoop and nav unless you special order from the factory.

...and i figured i could trade with someone and make them happy.

I just PM'd one of our local guys about this, he has a 2012 mag grey without a scoup and at the last meet mentioned wanting to upgrade, i dont know if this would be too far of a trip for him, but he does travel a bit so you never know. GLWT.

Will it fit a 2006 or did they even offer that color then? I would buy it,mine is scooped but it is silver. Considering buying new bedsides and fenders in mag.
Would just need hood, tailgate and door skins and would nearly have a different truck.lol

No, 2012 Hood is different because of the changes to the grille.
