Hope everything went well

Well, just got back from my 2,000 mile excursion for the Holiday. Rain all the way up and rain all the way back. New tires were stellar and the truck handled beautifully. Now I have to go clean all the frickin salt off of it...it's not used to that.

I couldn't clean it for a whole week...Arrgh!

I hope everyone who travelled had a safe trip (I saw a LOT of accidents)...I don't want to be hearing about any broken Tacomas!!

 

Glad to hear you had a safe trip. Did 2200 miles from CA to Denver and back myself. It was a beautiful trip seeing that part of the country in white for the first time. As for the truck it's in one piece but it must have 6 layers of dirt on it, I'm going to clean it here in an hour. Now that this trip is over I can replace my stock tires for something a lot less sensible (285/45/22s).

Just got back from 1000 miles across NY, VT,& NH, about 200 in 4wd.
1200 lb load and snowmobile (single) trailer in tow. Thankful for the 4 leafs in the rear. 17 mpg for the trip, not bad.
