These LED's are BRIGHT! I'm seeing tons of spots right now :)

Can't be happier with them, very quick install, great quality, love em'.. Thanks for the hook up OP!

ok guys, what is the trick to the map lights? do you remove the reflector? do you just let the board lay on the lense? if you were to put the board within the lense, only the very corners or the board would touch and not enough 2 sided foam would hold it.

Spec D headlights (garbage, Do not buy) replaced bulb with H7 80W Osram Off Road bulb so I could actually see. The lights they send do not put off any light at all and it's impossible to see anything at night... TOYO Open County AT III's (smooth ride, not loud) with Matte Black 17-In. TRD PRO Wheels Plasti dipped emblems and Bull Bar (Lasted about 2 years, need to spray them again)
Got mine yesterday! Looks like a project for today... Anyone got a thread on installing these??! When it comes to removing or replacing plastic pieces in my truck, I usually end up breaking them... lol

i used a small screwdriver on the driver side of the cab light and on the side of the map that you put your finger on to turn on and pry gently. went fine

Your dome lamp will have a notch on the left side. Pry that geNtly and push to the right, and it will drop open for you. For the map lights, pry from the inside edge to the outside. This is easier if you remove the overhead bin from the truck. The hardest part for me was that there are no flat spots to properly mount the led sets to once the lights were apart.

For the map lights I used a little flat head screwdriver (i put scotch painters tape on the tip) to pry open the plastic and there is no way to get a grip on those lights. Use the same screwdriver to put some down pressure on the glass From above the bowl. Just be gentle.
For the dome light I couldn't put it right in the middle but it's only like half an inch off and it was flat enough.
Anyone done the licence plate lights yet? Any tips?

Too much for TW to know
I finally got around to installing the LED lights from the OP. I forgot to update him so I will do it here.

Thanks a ton for all the customer service and the product was very nice. I found the lights to be a little bit fiddly but once I adjusted the holder it works good.

    Thanks again.

The license plate lights were easier. Literally just plug and play. Unscrew, pop off the outer cover, twist the light socket from the cover, unplug the bulb and then replace with the led. Install in reverse.

scratch that... extra parts for different trucks... I was looking at the 3 cords and I only needed the one...

as far as the flat surface goes, just peel off the double sided tape and stick it to something... mine is only touching one piece of metal and the spring thing that goes in place of the old light... ya like my technical terms?! lol

Aight, here ya go! it's still daylight, but I took pics anyway... WAAAAAYYY Brighter!!!

next mod is the projector HID's... (mine keep going out for some reason and I'm tired of replacing them, but I don't like halogens...

then I'm pretty sure I need a new battery! These LED's will NOT work when my truck is Off... my battery is from 10/09 and I have a ton of shit plugged into it already...

Rewire alternator next and track down my neighbor who rebuilds cars to help take dent out of 4Runner hood with scoop, paint it and replace on my truck...

the 09 has metal reflectors which prevent sticking the tape to anything which even slightly resemble a flat surface. so,,,,,,,,,

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
They all do HotRod. I just had to tape mine to the reflector. Plus, once you put the cover back on you will barely even notice where it is taped on to.

I'm struggling with the licence plate lights. I took the screw off and then I took off the black plastic piece but I can't get off the clear plastic piece to get to the bulb itself

I just got everything figured out with the licence plate lights but I must have fiddled with 1 of the lights for like 30 min. It would work only when it's barly plugged in. I would try and get the cover on and it would push the led in further in which would turn it off. I tried both sides but it just wouldn't work when it was plugged in all the way. Anyone know if I can do anything with the little prongs to make it work?
