New to riding and liter bikes don't mix very well. Just tonight while at a tuner car meet with a friend of mine a guy came on his new R6 and while pulling away thought it would be a good idea to gun it and went over rashing up every inch of the left side of his brand new R6.

    I agree, however there's a huge difference between an inline 4 1000cc and a V-Twin 1100 cc.

Either way, get some riding experience in and get to some riding schools.

It also depends on if he's looking at a sport bike or a cruiser type. The sport bikes you have to be very careful of the bike lifting the front tire when you don't want it to. That won't happen on the cruiser.

Drove the Audi and i'm insanely jealous. Has less miles than my Tacoma and he even paid less than I did :( Totally loaded.. heated everything.. navi..

Super chicken is just... big..... Loud as crap though!!! We'll see if he can hang though. hah

edit- Forgot he's been "investigating" and seeing these... it's a nice bike.. uhm.. i'm sure he's a great rider.. uhm.. yea... ;)

If he knows how to ride it, he can hang with most bikes at the track. :D

I am not exactly sure. It originally had a deposit down for an 848 EVO Corse SE back in December but put another deposit down for the Panigale last week. They estimate May.

When you put a deposit down you are on the list for the entire nation...not just the dealership...it's weird i know.

I don't mind because it will let me save more to put down.

It was for the 848, but it is now towards the Panigale S. I also have it on the standard, but he said they sell more S's and that he would make it work. I would be putting at least half down so it's not too bad. I have been saving for about a year now.
