I like how Andrea told Lori to tell the young girl that everything would be alright and that she'd have a husband and a baby and a boyfriend too. Basically saying, "Yes b*tch... we all know you's a ho!"

I think the walker in that field's gonna follow them back and lead other walkers to the farm.

How was it that the walker was on the same side of the road to and from where they were gonna drop the kid off?

Another good episode, i do wonder why no one ever gets infected when they're covered in zombie blood?

This, they've suddenly decided that a scratch can infect you. Yet they've litterally worn walkers on multiple ocassions, I am an active dude and very often have atleast a small scratch somewhere on my body, when I'm roughing it in the wild and doing everything they're doing I get more beat up.

Unless a bit kills you due to blood loss, and a scratch doesn't kill, just causes reanimation upon another means of death.....or back to the old Jenner whisper theory of "We're all already infected" and those 2 dead cops just happened to have scratches and died and reanimated.

My thoughts on the last episode, and I'm not pulling this from the comic books so no spoilers to be concerned with..

In regards to Shane seeing the lone walker in the fields, I don't think this is as symbolic of him turning into a walker, much as it is he is beginning to isolate himself. Maybe he's starting to think that he would be better off on his own as he did earlier in the season? I think thats the only symbolism there...he's isolating himself like that walker.

In regards to the shattered window and his reflection, not so much Shane is going to become a walker, but more symbolic that he is allowing his anger to shatter his world, which will eventually allow the walkers in (hence the walkers escaping through the window).

I don't think the scratch means anything by itself. What I believe in that regard, is that they both realized they were staring at two dead cops, which will be them if they don't get their shit together. It was seeing the two dead cops that drove Rick to remember his morals and go back to get Shane. And it was Rick's comment to Shane about the scratch and how to kill the zombie with a knife that showed Shane that maybe he doesn't know as much as he things he does about what it takes to survive in that world.

Maybe the two cops had scratches because they were fighting with each other? Foreshadowing to Rick and Shane's own battle and eventual demise if they don't get their shit together.

And in regards to zombie movies needing a cause for what happened explained, I think its more believeable if they don't entirely know. Think about it, if something like that really happened, and spread exponentially, there is a damn good chance, barring a few unsubstantiated reports, that we would never know what started it.

    Just my .02 and opinion..

^^^This. You die of natural causes and whatever virus or bacteria that was unleased reanimates you anyway. It was there all along, just needed another ingredient to launch it.

Its got to enter the blood stream. I believe they mentioned they had to be careful not to get into any open wounds and such. Probably doesn't spread as easily as the Rage virus from the '28 Days' franchise.

    I think

Shane looked like a walker in the reflection of the shattered glass and was all raged and limping, he looked like a walker. That with the lone walker in the field is symbolic of him 'turning' and becoming animalistic like a walker.

    similar thoughts. great post.

Or maybe the baby will be immune to the virus and they will use it's blood to create a vaccine.
