Does this rule only affect the one park? I am a huge supporter of the NPS, I love national parks. And it's kind of hard to figure out from the link what the rule does that is causing a problem. It's not very explicit about how/why it crushes business. Or why I should consider the NPS "terrorists." I'm guessing this is an issue of local importance in/near the park, but if there were more details perhaps it would have a wider audience. I could support a petition that has little to no effect on me, if I could only figure out what I would be supporting.

Extremist positions (like saying the NPS is a terrorist organization) don't help much; if the facts can't convince me it's a bad idea, why would I sign?

I might have signed the petition had you not called the NPS terrorists, you have a very skewed view of terrorism. Dedicated NPS officers protect our parks and sacrifice alot to serve. Some in dangerous assignments. Your generalizing scores no points w/ me and probably most others who serve their country, community etc... (If you want to fight terrorism join the Marine Corps and ship out to Afghanistan )

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
In other words, the NPS won't let you do exactly what you want to do whenever you feel like it?

That makes them a terrorist organization? Hardly.

That makes you a spoiled little brat who isn't getting his way. Screw your petition.

"I truly believe that the National Park Service are American terrorists. They murder 100's of animals on our island and spend millions of tax dollars policing our beaches. Civil liberties and our rights as Americans have been stripped away by these special interest groups and the NPS. May the souls of all those animals they have murdered come back to them, and all the families that have lost their businesses and homes because of the total economic collapse this act has caused. I don't allow any NPS on my property or businesses, I hope all businesses will do this too."

Thanks all for your support!!!!! Terrorist or not, just leave the shit the way it is. People have been enjoying themselves for years on the beaches and now Parks close them for birds. (JUST WRONG). Please keep on signing, our TACOMAS love the beach sand!!!!!!!

:jerkoff: Thousands of people are loosing their jobs, families are being destroyed and the town is hurting because the Park Service is protecting birds that are not even native to the area. This is not about me you asshole.

So sand pipers are not native to the beach?
I agree closing beaches is a bit extream but if everyone would follow the rules while on the beach it would not be a issue. I've lived in the outer banks and kind of see both sides of the argument

i live close to assateaque island where you have to buy a $90 beach permit to be able to drive on the beach which i dont mind because i work for the state and see the importance of those fees but the day that i got up at 3am paid my $90 for a permit and went to head to my favorit fishing spot only to find out that they closed most of the beach and and everybody is cramed onto this little strip of beach kind of pissed me off which also happens down in OBX you travel all that way spend money to go down and stay only to find the beaches are closed makes you not want to visit those areas which hurt local bussiness which makes the Gov drive up taxes to compensate for the lost in revenue so everyone looses
