Well, I'm a Taco noob, but this is my 4th Toyo. I don't know how much of a "build" thread this will be as I just brought this superwhite beast home 2 days ago.

Thanks to the forum members here, I was able to do a pile of research prior to my purchase. I believe helped me make a great decision and saved a little money.

So, my plans so far is to get a plan. I don't want to run off spending money and pissing off my wife without some direction.

    Completed Mods:

Interior: CSJumpers LEDs (1 white / 1 red map lights with white LED dome)
Fighter cockpit mod - four blue LED strips for the floorbaords / under seats
Blue LEDs added to the pocket under AC controls, coin tray, center cupholder, center console rear double cup holder, and the invertor vents.

Exterior: 2-16-12 Ammo box / bed rail mod DELETED, too noisy and i didnt keep anything in there.
    2-20-12 De-badged the rear tailgate
3-16-12 Derp'd the side badges and torx nuts in the bed
    3-18-12 Took off mudflaps
    3-18-12 installed new license plates,
added security cable to the rear so it could not be stolen (its that awesome) and used nut/bolt up front
4-4-12, More CSJumper LEDs, parking lights, reverse lights, and license plate lights
4-16-12 Got front windows and eyebrow tinted to 20%. Pretty good match for the back glass.
4-18-12, got redline tuning hood struts installed, very cool and great directions for install. Even a dork like me did it.
4-18-12, front badge changed from metallic blue to flat black
5-22-12, Raptor-lined Avid Step Rails and rear bumper
    5-28-12, did the BHLM
6-12-12, got my water transferred pieces back from 4bush weapons refinishing

    Planned Mods:

System for the tunes- see below, began 9-1-12

Remote Start (lmk a good one. I dont want a walmart one)

4-18-12 got on grill craft 2012 GB.
    some sort of bed LEDs

    Locking Gas Cap

**A buddy of mine owns 4Bush Weapons Refinishing and is doing water transfer now, WOOT!!!!** Sending a bunch of interior pieces to him.

This is my toyo the day I brought it home. Bad cell phone pic, but I'll never be a shutterbug, so its the best I can do.

Tailgate de-badge. I started by gathering materials: coffee, stool, goof-off, floss (that snapped fast), fishing line, and a paper towel.

I practiced by taking the dealership badge off my wifes van. All the advice here on TW was correct: de-badging is easy, it looks great and gets you tons of pu$$y.

In the before pic, we see my supplies and a cluttered tailgate.

In the last pic, we can see a nice clean tailgate. aahhhhh.

oh yeah. and I got some 3m urban digital film samples from Metrostyling. Seems like decent stuff.

So i grabbed a heat gun and a small part to try out the sample on. I located a small fuse box cover that would look neat. I put the film over it, hit it with heat, and stuck it to the cover. I trimmed it up with a utility knife (too dull, and tore edges).

It looks good and after two days of barely driving, its holding up fine. I plan to do some interior pieces. I was surprised this stuff formed around the barely noticable "delphi" lettering on the cover. Hopefully, when I do the door sill plates, it will look just as cool. I wanted to do hydro graphic water transfer, but i cant find a place that will do plastic pieces. hmmpf.

Well, no plans right now, but I doubt there is anyone on TW without plans for a lift, so I better get to dreaming. Once I get through this list I know I will do some sort of rim/tires combo so the lift will have to be planned at that time at least.

Yeah, the digital snow pattern (460) is looking good. I'll have to give them a holler and see what a bunch of pieces would run me. Its gotta be better looking and easier than the film. I just dont know if I could live without a pile of truck peices for a few weeks while they are sent out, serviced and shipped back.

idk....so many things to do to be awesome.

just added some ebay led 194s to the rear license plate spot. I'll report back if they were worth the couple bucks.

I also plasti-derp'd my side badges. I learned a lot from TW and I know I am a total n00b. A debadge and derp'ing of side badges...whoa, slow down! Right?!

Anyway, here is a few pics.

So you tape it off, clean it with some alcohol...not from the cooler....then get a little girl with a can of derp to paint it. You guys know the drill. This isnt a tutorial, but I just want anyone to know that a person with ZERO mechanical skill an do this. It is easy.

Also, I decided to take the mudflaps off before they broke or cracked or scored too big a mark in the fender. I also figured I could make some green towards some decent step rails. Thinking nfab or smittys. Westens look too cheap and the ones in town are all rusty. I cant find a good looking pair of westens in real life.

So here it is before and after mudflaps

I think it makes it seem a little higher. I am more interested in selling them to offset the cost of step rails anyway. I was surprised these things go for more than $20. lol.

Also, here are the pics of CSJumpers LEDs. Forgot to post them up. These pics were taken at about 1pm on an overcast day in February I think. I got a red and cool white map light bulbs and a cool white dome. Could not be happier. Why these are not OEM idk.

ANyway, Chris is getting more of my money in a week. I need LED plate lights, back ups, and maybe more.
