    Just finished doing the ABS Kill Switch Mod on my 2011 Tacoma offroad.Havent driven it yet to test. When flipping switch I get three lights on the instrument panel.Tomorrow I will give it the stress test.

    Took it out for a test run today, With ABS turned off . :) :) As Crom said it works GREAT!!You can lock them up if you want to,unlike when ABS is on.Stops alot quicker.Cant wait to get some snow .THANKS CROM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)

    Okay, The method in the OP should work for all locker trucks, prerunner included. What I believe happens with the diff lock switch is closed (ground signal provided), simulatniously the Skid Control ECU is notified and the 4WD ECU if present. There is a wiring junction point where the signal is split off I believe. In short it will work for Prerunners too.

    Same way I did mine years ago. Cept I used the blue/yellow under the hood and fed in 12v instead of grounding

    I did a no splice variation of this method and used a push button type. Since I do not use the TPMS system this is how I installed the switch:

    Yup, you could set up a momentary switch. I grounded mine in 2005 and haven't looked back, abs sucks.

    Did my 2011 Off road and it turns off and back on with truck running. You dont need to cycle the ignition.
