I only went through 1 inch, but I got dirtier Snow was down to 400' level.

 

Yep those are the 37s. I love them so far. I made it about 3 miles with 2.5-3.5 feet of fresh snow. At the top you couldn't even see the tires but i didn't take any pictures.

 

That looks like it was fun. Have you ever put chains on that thing?

 

I don't have the clearance for chains with the 37s. Unless you have low low gears you usually just dig down in snow that deep.

Those are some beautiful pictures, perfect blend of serenity and automotive badassnes. Where are you at, with all that fresh powder? Your location says Auburn, but I know there aren't any mountains like that close by.

 

I actually have chains that I used on my 35's. I need to add one more link to them and they'll fit the 37's but I can barely stuff the 37's without chains as it is. They are pricey though. I think I paid 250 for 4 v-bar chains a few years ago.

This was in the Snoqualmie area. Tinkham road to be exact. I usually go to the Steven's pass area but it was too far for how late in the day I left. I was surprised no one went up before me since it was already Sunday afternoon. Usually that place is crawling with people on Saturday.

 

I have never been up there, looks amazing. I may have to venture up there with you once I get some decent tires and recovery gear and maybe some lockers and 4.10s . That will be a while though (cuz I'm po' white trash)

That's the plan anyway. Waiting to hear from a couple guys to figure out when exactly haha.

Yep. Looks pretty frosty from in town. Heard there's good powder up top from a buddy that was up there yesterday.

 

If I hadn't just gotten done detailing/polishing the STi, I would be checking it out myself.
