Owning a house is a HUGE deal and to be able to do that at such a young age is something to admire. At times it's going to get tough with trying to furnish it and all. My friend got his first house and went all out with a charge card and bought brand new furniture before the house was even finished being built. Long story short, his boyfriend lost his job and he ended up being stuck with both the house payment of over 4k per month PLUS the bills for the purchases. Needless to say, he lost the house and had to sell the furniture. They broke up because of this and he ended up moving in with his mother at the age of 36.

Just remember to try to save for a rainy day (six months of rent is ideal) and not to worry about filling the house up. Gotta make sure the walls are paid for first.
