We torqued everything down so should be tight.. No bends, obvious breaks or cracks... Bushings maybe? UCAs or LCAs are what I'm thinking

I've had my LCA cam bolt nuts loosen during wheeling twice now, which results in an occasional pop or clunk from the LCA when driving and the truck loses alignment.

I torque them back down and get it aligned, and that resolves the issue.

    Just a thought.

Take them off and replace them? Mine are dry and cracked :/

I need an alignment but won't get one until I get my suspension done.. I feel like they are a waste with wheeling every other weekend.. I'm not sure which bolt you're talking about but I'm pretty sure we would have gotten that one unless its really out of the way

This is why you go to Firestone or NSC and get an unlimited plan. I got a 3 year plan about 1 year ago at a Merchant's Tire here in town for $150 and have had like 6 alignments by now, and will probably get another 6 to 10 before the plan expires. Definitely worth the $ if you wheel frequently.

Basically the bolts that mount the LCA to the frame. My suspicion is that the factory torque spec on them is too low and they back off when wheeling.

Aren't you worried about them not really knowing how to align an offroad truck? Thats my only concern.. haha

I was told with those alignments that they really dont do much of anything except on the first one. But when I am done installing my new suspension I will try to find one of those deals around here for sure. I don't think I would buy any other alignment

Ahhh ok so I do know what those are and its funny you say that because I posted a video of my LCAs moving on the cam bolt, it seemed to correlate with the noise I was getting. When Aaron and I took the tires off to torque we tightened the hell out of them and I still get the noise. Thats whats leading me to think bushings. I have a thread with a video of them moving here

lol the Firestones in in El Cajon know about our club; we use to send people to them, but they found that we make so many changes to our vehicles that it's a bitch for them to align us all the time. We've got a backup plan though. His name is CSJumper Chris lol.

i had a 1 year warranty with Wheel Works in Norcal, but they turned me down after 4 alignments.

Turns out that if you willingly go offroad, it voids the warranty.

I do my own damn alignments now, although, once I get my shit redone in a few weeks, ima take it to this place that does all the LT laser alignments and just tack weld the cams. No reason to keep changing the alignment if it's done right the first time.

As the bushings wear, eventually your done-right alignment won't be done-right no more. Just a thought.

Well I don't have to worry about that cuz I haven't had an alignment since I bought the truck
