When's the Gantry set to arrive Jerry?
I have to wait 5 weeks for my 4x8 table.

 

Yeah they take forever I ordered in January and i just talked to them and it's still about a week and a half out before it ships.

Did you get the bolt together or are you building a table?

 

Went with a table other than Torchmate
Its going to be pretty much turn-key. Just throw the legs under it(comes with a water table) and the computer cabinet on when it arrives, hook up the wires, and let er rip.

 

Oh Really PlasmaCam?

 

Nope! Plasmacam are cheap as hell(quality wise), and replacement parts for them are a bitch from what I've seen.

New... Hence the wait time. Its being built to order, but they're backed up a little at the moment.

Just some more mig practice

16 gauge project that I did while at welding class.


My test pieces for my D9.1 certification (overhead mild steel, MIG)
I also just received my D1.1 Certification (structural steel up to 3/4")


14 Guage exhaust duct for a recycling center.


This was an interesting project. This is a section of ceiling that will be inside of the new strip club at the new casino in Atlantic City. It was painted bronze afterwards.


This was a 42x42x84 14 guage Stainless Steel piece of duct for a turbine at a new power plant in the city. Had to TIG the whole thing (1/8" tungsten) Took almost 8 hours.

 

Picked this up today with a bottle too.

I'm excited to make some of my ideas reality

So what is it?

 

Any one can tig weld 316 stainless, and have quality work, I need something welded that can with stand salt water. Looking for quality, I dont know anyone down here that has welds that nice.
