i couldn't tell you ..i didn't have to retro them, i bought them with the bulbs already in.

But yes it does come with the grommet. You have to put the power wires out tho and seal them. I used DDM tuning bulbs and the Raptor ballasts from them instead of the slim just cause they are metal casing and seem beefier. But are MUCH bigger.

can't really remember how i ended up with a set of extra 6000k bulbs either..but those are going in the 240s.

and ill probably run DDM slim ballasts for those just to make mounting easier.

well....it didnt. my cb kicked my ass tonight. I got the antenna all mounted and wired up, then spent a long time figuring out how to get the cb mounted, then wired it. went to tune it...and i accidentally bought a male/female coax for the swr meter instead of a male male. then i said screw it, ill just mount it in there and tune it later, bit i couldnt get the cb/radio combo it in no matter what i did. i was tired of dealing with it so i ripped it all apart, cut the wires and put the dash back together and im starting from square one another day.

anyone got any ideas on how to connect the cb to the deck?

also when i turned the cb to the weather channel it was really really quiet. is that because the antenna wasnt tuned of do i have to change something else?

BAH! i "trimmed" the shit out of all the plastic there. i mutilated that shit just to get it to look like itll fit. I know how to trim, this aint my first rodeo. it was 12:30 at night, i still had stuff to do before i went boardin tomorrow, and i was tired of dealing with it, so i just said fuck it. i need a new plan to get it to fit. im thinking of going with metal zip ties, hopefully they are more low profile, and i have to figure out where it was too tight to fit through. not sure when im going to find time for that tho. also my belts squeak and it bugs me knowing my truck makes that noise. so i have to deal with that too.

Hmmm I always though there was the 3 types. Fog, driving/pencil, and the ffs. My ffs always seemed farther than my fog style but maybe it was how they aimed.

Either way even my fog ones were long range enough for me...even tho a nice pair of Mrs would sure be nice.
