I know - how much does that usually cost?

 

It's just a matter of buying new locks. Front door, rear door. And if you have a keypad outside of the house for the garage door opener, you might want to change the code for that too.

 

X2 ours was a short sale so we did it first thing. we bought all new hardware so it was like 300 or 400 bucks to change all the locks.

 

lol what about home stuff? I think I didn't mod my truck for a year when we got our place. But when the place was fully furnished and put together, the mods came back

 

my first tenant just gave me $1500 cash woohoo.

I tried to replace the hardware in my door and found that I'd need to replace the door - because no hardware currently available matches how the door is drilled. And it wasn't that old a door, either.

But if you're handy (and when was a TW member ever NOT handy? OK there was that whole tranny fluid/motor oil/coolant debacle. But I digress...) you can buy a rekey kit at home depot, disassemble the thing yourself, and change out the pins for new ones based on the keys provided in the kit.

That's pretty easy and not much money.
