Well in other news... I tried to solder on the resistor to my compass.

    FAIL.

(PRS 2 TiFJ) Seth is helping me out fixing it, thanks again Seth if you read this.

Picked up some 2* axle shims as I finally got around to messing with my driveline angles.

I measured the shafts in a couple different places. Rotated the shafts until the yoke of whatever I wanted to measure came to be parallel with the ground and then measured off the yoke. Also used a socket to stick onto the ends of the u-joint trunnions to measure.

Measured a few different times everywhere and also used a couple different angle finders and an angle finder app on my droid. Basically all came up the same so I'll throw in these shims then measure everything again. Might see what I can do about the carrier bearing. 1* doesn't seem too bad though.

Then hoping Eric can cut me some top plate spacers on his CNC when he gets it. I'll rotate my ball joints to 2* over stock again. Then I'll take it back down for re-alignment and have them max caster at the LCA, then adjust camber with the UCA. Hopefully this will make the truck drive better and maybe even get a little more clearance in the fenders.

Also hopefully get my compass in the mail soon. Then all I'll have left is getting the t-case skid on when Eric finishes that and doing my wheel bearings. Hopefully nothing else breaks.

Got my compass back from PRS (Seth), amazing job on the soldering. I can't even fathom how he did it so clean, my soldering looked like a pile of boogers. Some things are better left to others.

Got it all back together and bam, back in business. Thanks again Seth!

Also put some 2* axle shims to bring the pinion down. Vibes gone from what I could tell. Got her up to 75 with some good load. Driveshafts are still about a degree off but from what I could tell it doesn't matter. Probably best that way anyway. Wooo!

In my opinion, your truck and MrGrimm's truck are the only trucks that can make those front bumpers look good!!!! Nice build...I read through all 20 plus pages and I like what you've done so far!!! Keep up with the great mods!!!

I think I got it covered this time (literally!). I sealed every damn part of that housing until I could blow into it and it was air tight. Stupid thing. Thanks though!

When I bought my truck the headlights were all jacked up. I didn't know about the BHLM until I joined this site so I immediately knew what happened. When I pulled the old ones out and put new ones in, I swear to you I filled up half of a 2 liter coke bottle with the water that poured out of them.

Yep. But not a lot. I did massage it up a little with a BFH. Bout the only thing else you can do (aside from pounding it back a bit) is to either space the bump stop down with some washers or cut out where it rubs and weld in new pieces with more clearance.

I'm sure eventually I'll cut the back of the fenderwells and tub them.
