If you hadn't made the remark of it not being American I'm sure there would be several members or more willing to help you diagnose it.
My .02 is contact their GM explain the problem and see if they'll help you out with a diff one.

yeah you just need to either go back to the dealership, you just got a bad egg it seems, sucks but it happens, and not every car/truck is perfect

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Lemon Law. You are DEFINITELY qualifying for it! Make one last ditch effort with the dealer, tell them you're looking into lemon-law'ing it, and see if they don't maybe bend over backwards for you.

And yeah. Toyota < American?? Now I know what it sounds like when someone tries to talk with their head up their ass.

For the record, not ALL Tacos are put together in the US. Some are done in Mexico.

As for the OP: The chances that you're getting 3 bad rear ends in a row are VERY slim. Either it's something that you are doing (driving habits), or have done to your truck (mods? lift?)

are you getting an entire new third member's? if so, the chances of 3 going bad in a row are....very very low. without severe punishment. i beat th hell out of my older toyota, and the rear diff never whined. it had 35's and a lincoln locker.

I too picked up on the unmistakeable intestinal cavity echo eminating from the first post in this thread.

OP, have them balance the driveshaft, swap the whole rear end or swap the whole truck & good luck with the Mexicanadian alternate brand choice too if that's the route you go.

2008 reg cab 4x2. I have a friend who is a big chevy man and this truck never fails to make me look bad. It is very slow and the rear differential whines really bad at speeds above 50 mph. I had it changed three times and now I think I need a fourth one. Toyota changed the first one at 22,000 miles and then again at 24,500. I am currently at 25,000 and it started whining again. I guess these trucks are not to impress anyone. These trucks are for the cable companys that's it. Does anyone else feel this way?

No. Sorry you seem to be having issues. I've had 6 (+/- a few) of them, none treated well except the one I have now and have NEVER had a single problem. Again, zero maintenance except routine (oil and brake type stuff).
