    yeah we dont have the side scan or structure scan or any of that good stuff, just good old fishfinder/bottom reader.

    thing has a badass GPS that shows a line that differentiates state waters and fed waters.

    Thats gonna look good with a tower. Ive never been fishing for anything other than freshwater fish well except been on a party boat once in the gulf.

    you try fishing offshore without being able to see any breaks on the bottom or where the bait is. ahahahah

    but the tower is mainly for sight fishing use and so we can get a better spread trolling.

    we also do a ton of inshore fishing and cobia/tarpon/shark fishing.

    its also used more for the depth value of sonar. half the time i could care less whats under me but gettin a depth reading/ seeing what the bottom is doing when doin 50 across a mud flat is always useful ahah.
