Me and this girl broke up back in July. The other night, a buddy of mine talked me into texting her for the first time in I dont remember. She called me last night and wanted to go out to eat. Ate sushi then headed back to my place and watched Top Gun haha. She picked it out. Anyways, we had a great time. I know after a while the new will wear off, but what is yalls take on this?

Under what circumstances did said relationship come to an end?

Without knowing that I cannot impart wisdom upon you.

    How old are you?

IMO, the older you are the more I'd be willing to give an ex a shot. The younger, fuck it. It didn't work for a reason, plenty of more fish in the sea.

Unless you're young enough that it's just the uhh fun stuff your after, then by all means. Be honest and have fun.

What was the reason the relationship ended? If it was because of cheating, I say no. If it was for other reasons, I would say try it out again and see where it goes. :D

Depends on why you broke up.

If you messed up and you've fixed whatever it was that you did, then give it a try if you're still into her.

If she messed up and you're expecting her to be different than she was before, be very careful.

I've gone back to an ex. Actually, she came back to me. Me being who I am, I gave it another chance. She was exactly the same as she was before, go figure. Anyway, the deal breakers that were there before hadn't gone away, despite what she told me. It's over now, for the second time.

People rarely change. The way people acted in the past is the best indicator of how they will act in the future.

    Good luck.

Im just shy of 19. I understand yall are several years older than me so im sure yall can help me with this. The reason for the break up was just so much was going on at the time. Got stressed out with school coming back into play and it just started turning into a good number of fights. I really like the girl we dated for 6 months. She loved my tacoma and I even let her drive it 2 miles down the road. I understand there is a lot of space for things to go wrong, so im not looking at it as a long term thing. Im in college and she is graduating in may. Same age and all that good stuff though. I wouldnt mind it being something long term though. I know yall will have some funny yet true stuff to say so lets hear it.
