Yep and we fixed that with some gussets... I'll take a motor mount issue for 2 years vs a frame issue... You think they will stop production now to fix the frame? Also 05-06 tacomas had weak frame issues but nothing like a thread of 30+ trucks (7 of them in the same weekend) having bent frames. I'm not hating and I do understand a lot of Raptor owners bought them and thought they were trophy trucks and beat the shit out of them, but still...

They fixed it already? Production? Or just the reinforcement kit? Sorry I don't know anything about raptors other than how Fox built the shocks and the frames suck.

yeah, they plated the newer raptors. I think they made the frame thicker, too

What, you think they would just keep building the frames the way they are? lol

thats not the point though, ford being a multi billion dollar company should recall all those trucks and fix the problem.

The "SVT" engineers and torture test crew obviously didnt research the market they were offering this truck to and didnt put the truck through its paces like they said they did or else they would have caught this problem before production. They should have let us torture test those bitches out! :D

Agreed. You read the article about how they tested it running a simulated baja 1000? That first frame would be in half if they did.

Well I'm a consumer of offroad related vehicles and parts... this is a public forum and... this is a B.S. thread... I think I'm allowed to keyboard voice my opinion. If this is not allowed, let me know. I'm just as quick to judge Toyota on motor mounts, shitty leafs, shitty frames and bad air bag cables in my 2005 too. Welcome to the Internet, we talk about and test things and try to push for the best quality within the major manufactures.
