With the 1/7 twist you will probably find a heavier weight more accurate. The 55gr or less may fly apart with that much twist. The 75gr should shoot well with it.

XM193 is shot through 7 twist on a routine basis.
Most all military 55 grain ammo will be fine with 7 twist.
It's thin jacketed light varmint bullets that may have trouble with the 7 twist.

At 50 yards there was no noticeable difference in accuracy between 55gr xm193 and SSA 77gr. I haven't had a chance to stretch it out and see what they do at 100+ yet though.

Eh, I had bought a mid length quad rail and have a mid length gas system. So my gas block would be exposed.. I had bought a low pro gas block not knowing it would be exposed. It looked pretty good even exposed. I had also ordered a gas block with the rails on it to try as well, but in the end I have decided to do something different from a quad rail. Everyone has a quad rail on theirs. So I went for the Yankee Hill Machine modular tube design in rifle length. So I will just have one small rail on the bottom just long enough to hod my AFG and... debating on whether to put a full length rail on top or just one long enough to hold my BUIS at the end. I like the cleaner look of not having a bunch of rail I dont need.

i have the Troy trx extreme on my 20" build and I really like it. Its pretty lightweight considering its a 20" barrel.

Lol I had a carbine and for some reason I wanted a rifle length gun. I've thought about having it cut to 18" but it'll probably never happen.

I bought a Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 (.22LR AR15) over the weekend. This thing is SO much fun! Ran 600rds through it, which cost about $16. Had 2 FTF and 1 FTE, but aside from that it ran great :)

Its liberating to do all the things you want to do with an AR that you usually don't because at .25c a pop it'd be a waste (mag dump, mag change, mag dump, trololololz) Its pretty accurate. My buddy and I were getting quarter sized groups at 25yds and plinking 4"x6" steel at 100yds, holding about 6" high.

I got the MOE version with Magpul MOE grip, stock, and MBUS flip-up sights. I'm looking at getting the rail adapter from www.tacticool22.com and installing an aluminum rail in place of the polymer one to add some weight. I'm also going to put some lead shot in a cloth bag and stick it inside the storage compartment of the MOE grip to add some more weight. It weighs 5lbs, so 2lbs of stuff will bring it close to the weight of my .223 M&P15T.

The .22 is on top, the .223 on the bottom.
