I had to reassure myself that I was only imagining it had been cut shorter.

I suppose that for the majority of the people whose lack of mechanical aptitude renders them barely capable of finding the proper hole to put gas in their cars, a safety feature that cuts the engine if they just press every pedal at the same time is probably a good deal.

Now if we could only get people to stop turning around to mess with their babies while shuffling through their briefcases and texting their BFFs about how buzzed they are from their 3-martini business lunches maybe the road would be a safer place.
