See what I mean? You are only helping prove my point. I am not trying to be a dick but I know that is what I sound like. You keep changing parts of your story or back tracking. I am sorry but you are not helping yourself here.

I see your point. I would have a harder time believing this if we were talking about a brand new 90 Toyota 4x4. As far as I know Toyota started building entire trucks here in 1995. When my friends with the Ford and Chevy pole vaulted their trucks, I laughed my ass off and continued driving my 1986 Toyota with 150K mile original u joints still intact with no play in them to be found. (this was in high school, I had plenty of time to inspect and maintain my own truck)

I don't think it would be called "pole vault" if they only expected for it to lift a "few inches". Who cares if the witness was exaggerating? Maybe it was only 2' instead of 4'. Either way it probably made for quite a ride.

What do you guys expect him to have for proof? A video of the accident? A pic of a broken drive shaft?

Yes, it would have been quite a ride, one that I never have to witness....

I just don't see a truck going 45mph going 2ft in the air, sorry..

Well there's only 1 way to find out if it can happen. Bring your truck by and we'll loosen some bolts and go drive it until the drive shaft falls out doing 45mph.

I'm sure it will harmlessly fall to the ground and roll to the side of the road.

I'd do it, but not to my truck or someone else's, I'd buy an old beat up Taco and do....

Ok, no it wouldn't, but I've said what I think and am not going to repeat it and get in a fight over the internet about it.
