What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I haven't done it but I will have to eventually as well. The body mount looks fairly thin. Cutting through it shouldn't be a big issue. And I've got a nice welder. Should be fairly straight forward...right?

 

went fairly easy, had to trim a lot of the liner and fender flare since a lot of it was rubbing. Cutting was easy, just trace the plate.

 

Yeah...I looked at the plastics and I bought some cuttin wheels for the dremel. Should be a quick and easy trim job.
My cousin who races sprint cars has a shop and thats where we will do the body chop. Shouldnt be to bad. We got pics and we have watched WIZZARDs video on youtube.

Since I put my 35's on i have only driven my truck 3 times so i havent got to the cuttin yet.

 

yeah the liner was easy, just used scissors. The fender flare I used a die grinder with a cutting blade and chopped most of the bottom off.

Today I did a NO SPLICE variation of the ABS kill switch mod easy way by CROM. I also used a soft push button type switch instead of toggle. I also do not use the TPMS system so I used the set switch plate to mount it. It fit perfectly in the hole too.

Tried to do the ALL UNLOCK Mod for the key fob for my 2012, however the programming for the previous models does not work. Anyone know of the correct procedure to change the key fob to a single push and all doors unlock on the 2012's?

Also, mailed out my 2010 AEM Brute Force to a fellow TW member.

 

Installed a S/C over the weekend. Take it to the dealer for a reflash and discover a bad ECU. Replaced under warranty *dances*

 

Finally installed my URD short shift kit and USA-SPEC Ipod adapter.

2 big improvements!

I woke up to a picture message from my family in Myrtle Creek showing a pretty good amount of snow. Wish I could go play in it, but no snow here in Phoenix AZ.
