I used to live in a high-rise in Chicago after my messengering days. There were 8 floors of parking below where the apartments began. The bike rack was on the 4th floor, on my way to work, in the loop, I would take my bike up the elevator to the top of the parking garage and haul ass down 8 floors. Every now and then I would pass a car leaving for work, they would give me this "Are you fricken' crazy" look.

Very interesting stats above^^^^^^^^^. I'm not too surprised with the clown wheel number increases. I am surprised that the fs shipments declined that much however.

That urban downhill is sick. I caught some of it on the x games I think.

I use to do something similar. Me and a buddy had longboards and on Sunday's (no traffic) we would go downtown, climb up to the top of the parking garages and haul ass down on our boards. It was a blast

At my old dorm at USF we had a 8 story parking garage that was a blast to bomb down as well as some good spots for some urban assault

All the time. A caveat. Tho I ride alone, there are often others on the same trail. Sometimes not. So it's important not to go balls to the wall if you're by yourself.

Same here on the solo rides. I ride trails at night alone sometimes. Kinda spooky cool thing but more fun at night with others. Daytime really doesn't matter, always someone out riding most places around here.

One of the guys from the shop just went to a carbon trek remedy. i just saw the pic on facebook  he is so sick, really fast racer it took him 8 minutes flat to do a trail that took like 45 minutes to climb. i did it in 18 minutes and the slowest was 30 min...i think 2nd place was in around 9 minutes. its crazy
