arb deluxe winch bumper

    Arb deluxe winch bumper for 05-11. Was slighty bent in shipping. The corner under the right fender about 1/2". I didn't notice till it was installed. All brackets and bolts included. $600 located at yreka ca

    The dealer did. Then they didn't want it back. It's hardly even noticeable unless you tell somebody.

    ARBs are known for being extremely tough... that being said, it really surprises me it was damaged. I know mine would not be hurt in shipping...

    Seriously... Have you seen one of them in person? They're one of the strongest plate bumpers out there. It probably got dropped on the corner when the UPS guy was trying to wrestle it off his truck.

    Great deal for someone local!

    i thought you said it was strong? but dropping it would damage it, i thought these plate bumpers would take impacts to trees and nothing

    There's a difference between dropping a bumper on it's corner when it's not installed (meaning any reinforcing is not in place) vs. plowing straight into a tree when you have the bumper braced back to the truck's steel frame. I'm also speculating on dropping it causing the bend, for all I know the UPS guy dropped it off the truck and backed over it... :cool:

    There's no arguing, these bumpers are stout and one of the strongest on the market. Youtube ARB bumpers and see some of the abuse they've taken if you have any doubts.
